PLA is a plant-based, biodegradable plastic. It is suitable for taper candle display but has a low heat tolerance — always use taper candles, never leave burning candles unattended, and keep flames away from the PLA arms and body. LED taper candles are a safe and equally atmospheric alternative.

With care, yes — use standard taper candles, never leave them unattended, and keep the flame well clear of the PLA arms and body. The bobeches catch drip wax but are not designed to withstand direct heat. For worry-free use, LED taper candles are our recommendation.
